The Model 450WM has a 3 1/2” infeed opening. The 450WM is still the same solid performer as the original Model 450 but is designed for wider materials as well as easier feeding for plastic strap.

These materials can be processed through the Model 450WM Banding Chopper:

• 3/8” x .064” steel band
• 1/2” x .064” steel band
• 3/4” x .031” steel band
• All sizes of plastic/PET strap

How it Works

Just introduce the material (banding) into the infeed funnel. The feedworks (pinch rolls) will then grab the material and pull it into the rotating knife path. The feedworks will continue to pull at a rate of 106 FPM until the material is consumed or the operator releases the feedworks via the release lever.

Ready for any size of plastic/PET strap and a steady diet of 3/4” steel bands.
